      The W221 S-Class is winding down and the next generation W222 set to replace it is finishing up testing. What we see clearly in the photos here are new LED's incorporated into the headlights. It seems every manufacturer is getting on board with the idea of LED headlights and Mercedes seems intent to incorporate them into all their new models. Expect the new S-Class to be revealed later this year. Oh, and a plug-in hybrid version will also be coming along. Do not worry, Mercedes is not going soft, as a new S63 AMG with the M157 twin turbo V8 is also in the cards.

        Actually the new M157 Biturbo V8 is available on the current S-class since 2011.
