      Congratulations to Eurocharged as well as the owner of this W211 E55 AMG who goes by the name of e55amgrocket. The screenname is very appropriate considering the results. What is even more impressive is that this record time was achieved on the stock blower with Density Altitude over 1000 feet and 80 degrees at the MIR dragstrip. This means there is still room to improve on what is already a very strong result. Congrats again to Eurocharged for tuning this beast.

        thanks guys...we are shooting for high 9's this fall with it....should be interesting!

        Also note the car was at full weight as well! (4500lbs on the scale at the event)

        Thing is just nasty....

        I can only imagine what it's gonna run in nice, crisp, cool Fall air.

        we should be able to shed a ton of weight (shooting for 300lbs savings)

        small nos shot to the tb for cooling, and a rework of the cooling system to keep iats in check

        track should hit negative da

        temps should be around 30-40 degrees cooler! He was in the 80s when he ran.

        more dyno tuning to get her just right...

        That definitely sounds like 9's are in the cards...

        our thoughts too...plus he chirped the tires on launch (I wish i could say that with his 60') ........he seems to think he can get a sub 1.5 60

        Matt, the poly bushings are IN! Man it was a $#@! to pull down the subframe, but the fun part - burning the old bushings with a flame thrower - made it a lot easier.

        Nice, can't wait to see the result!! Should provide a nice improvement. I am going to try a bias-ply as well although I'm worried about top end stability.

        Bigger blower is likely the most cost effective option. Don't know why nobody has one available yet.

        agreed, but hard to justify a 8-10k cost with the price of the cars these days...
