      First of all, we want to point out the disparity in the engines here. The Audi has a 5.2 liter direct injected V10 that revs to 8700 rpm and is rated at 518 horses. The GT3 RS 4.0 has a comparatively small 6 cylinder at 4.0 liters that puts out an amazing 500 horses. The Audi should win but does not even with the drag from the aerodynamic enhancements on the GT3 RS 4.0. Why? Well, the GT3 is lighter and routes its power to the rear wheels and not all four. It also puts out a lot of power to the wheels despite only 6 cylinders and 4.0 liters. Very, very impressive vehicle.

        Very impressive, I didn't think the RS 4.0 would be that fast on a highway pull. For street duty, you still can't beat the Turbo/Turbo S though. But the RS looks mean as fawk.

        True but the way this thing deliver its power and drives... it's more fun than the Turbo in anything other than running from a stop.

        The R8 5.2FSI V10 it's a detuned Lambo LP570 V10... all it needs its a tune to open up the the missing 45rwhp =)

        Doesn't the Lambo use a different head and port injection versus direct injection? Or does Lamborghini use direct injection as well now?

        The RS 4.0 and Turbo S are both my dream cars. I don't know which one I would get if I had the choice.

        Ahh, just looked it up. I guess they are pretty much the same. They used to have different injection systems but both have direct injection now.

        Yes, when the R8 got the V10 it was when the Gallardo was using the 5.2 V10 with direct injection. Same motor, different tune.
