A bonus race in the video is the Jeep taking on a Switzer tuned R850 Nissan GTR. Needless to say, the GTR beats it pretty handily by the time the mile comes up. It also races an X6M with an Evotech tune and makes easy work of it but in that particular run it traps 10 MPH higher than it did versus the R8 and GTR which has us scratching our heads.

Now, we are not sure if this Jeep is actually putting out 1000 horses but that is the claim being made. With the way it rips this R8 V10, itself a very fast car, and holds it off through the mile it clearly is making a lot of power. It also traps higher at 167.7 MPH versus the 163.78 for the R8 V10. The R8 was asleep at the light with a poor reaction time and just does not have the power to run this Jeep down through the mile especially when the Jeep is pulling harder despite its comparatively poor aerodynamics and weight. A very impressive SUV.
