      The M6 Gran Coupe is rendered here courtesy of Theophiluschin. Yes, the car is coming as it has been spotted testing and we should see a reveal by the end of the year. So if in the market for an M5 should someone wait for this instead? Well, it is likely going to be much more expensive as 6 cylinder 640i Gran Coupe starts at $76,895. It may be a little lighter than the M5 though as the 640i weighs 4191 pounds. Really, once the bigger brakes, wheels, and motor are added it seems the weight will be a wash. It definitely will look sportier though, check out the renderings below.

        if i could afford either this or an m5, i'd still need the m5... sadly, it isn't the case. Unfortunately, I can't access this market

        not too bad, so what is the argument to get this over an m5? styling?

        Difference being the Gran Coupe can carry a 5th passenger, unlike the CLS.

        Not sure it would be a comfortable ride, but it is possible. Makes it more of a true comparison with the M5.

        With that said, I would no question take the CLS63 in this segment.

        the CLS63 does look a bit better in the styling department and who could argue against that engine...

        I saw the 6 Gran Coupe yesterday at the 12h of Sebring and I like it more than the CLS. The M version is going to look good.
