      The BMW N62 does not get a lot of love. Unlike the M62 the N62 features Valvetronic which posed somewhat of a challenge for forced induction kits not to mention it was not produced as much or for as long as the M62 V8 that preceded it. The N62 simply got and continues to get a lot less attention. Regardless, N62 owners such as those with a 2006-2008 E65 750i have a great tuning option from OE Tuning producing very nice gains at the wheels.

      As the graph shows, peak horsepower goes up by 29 wheel and peak torque by 14 pound-feet at the wheels on 91 octane. Those gains are tune only on a naturally aspirated V8. The increase in torque is throughout the curve and there is a considerable gain up top. With a full exhaust there is likely a bit more to squeeze out of it. Great to see a nice option like this for N62B48 engines.

        Yep, that seems to be about it unfortunately. VF had something but they seemed to abandon it and AA was tossing around the idea but I guess they abandoned it too.

        Haven't really seen any results for the ESS blower either. This motor gets little love, kind of like the N52.

        It's all because of the Valvetronic. Alpina had to add a second throttle body to be able to control the intake pressure.
