• The new F10 M5 takes on a 6 speed manual CTS-V from a stop and from a roll - Even match?

Finally some direct comparisons between the two super sedans. These are runs on the track between two brothers one of whom has the F10 M5 and the other with a 6 speed manual CTS-V. Both cars we are stock. The runs are very close with the first video featuring a roll on that is neck and neck. The second video has runs from a stop and the M5 takes two runs and the CTS-V takes two showing whomever got the better launch got the win.

It is a bit surprising the cars from a roll looked to be even as we would expect the M5 with its dual clutch to have an advantage there on the CTS-V. This is the best comparison we have of actual owners squaring off until we see the cars on the drag strip.

yes. Although Id appreciate it if you could clarify how to turn it all the way off cause it has a few modes. Did 1 press of the button, 2 presses and holding it for 5 seconds or something like that. I remember I got it off but I forget the different modes.

I mean even my Supercharged e92 m3 was fine in 3rd gear wouldnt break loose in a straight unless on poor pavement

unless you are talking about in the wet / $#@!ty and broken pavement / or maybe east coast cold moist days

This site is not going to have moderators. Staff members, yes.

I would prefer a system based on governors who each have their area of expertise (domestic, mercedes, audi, JDM, etc.) and are appointed by the members and if they do poorly are removed by the members.

It will just take a tune with the M5.

you pay all that extra money when you buy the car Click here to enlarge an all out motor match will still leave me cheaper than the cost of an M5 stock

An all out motor match will require the LSA going to turbos ultimately but it should in theory and based on what other LSX's have done be able to do 1500+ whp with some nicely sized twins.

The power delivery of a whipple is a lot of fun. I would stick with it.

How will the trans hold up? Is the car an auto, or a manual?

yes they do run out but there are only gonna be a couple of occasions where im gonna need that (over 1000wheel) so its fine with me....i can roll around with 800-900wheel in that case....i still want my car to be drive-able when i go somewhere nice....im not putting a cage in it so im not going over the edge.....the motor will take it though if i ever decide otherwise

I would take it over the M5, and it would have more support when modding it.

definitely....you have support of sooooo many vendors its ridiculous, not knocking the M5, still an amazing machine but if i was penny pinching which in some cases i am, the caddy is the obvious bargain

Very close. I can't tell- are there always 2 riders in each car. Seems that someone is operating the camera.
