Reports coming in from the NAIAS (North American International Auto Show) state that BMWNA product manager Paul Ferraiolo said the decision for now is that the cars will not come to the USA. Further confirmation came from BMWNA M brand manager Matt Russel who stated the chances for the M diesels coming to North America are pretty slim.
So what was the point of all this? We want more diesels in North America. We want a high performance diesel option. You are about to be surpassed by Audi. Sell us as many models as you can. Diesel demand is up by huge numbers in the USA. Why in the world will you not capitalize on it? This is a love-hate relationship if there ever was one. BMW, stop toying with us.
