    • TPC Racing 3.7 liter low compression built motor turbo Cayman hits over 500 whp - 4.3 liter version coming

TPC racing does excellent work. They pretty much are the De facto Cayman turbo option offering bolt on kits to built motors as you see here. They drop the compression to 10.0:1 with their forged pistons and bore out the block. They add their forged connecting rods as well and the new internals paired with their turbo allow this Cayman to hit 515 whp. It is interesting to see how much displacement Porsche left on the table in the block which the stock displacement was no doubt chosen to protect 911 owner's egos. We can't wait to see what the upcoming 4.3 liter version does.

how are they going beyond 4 litres?! I thought that was the limit. I found a company that claims they can push the flat 6 to 5 litres(http://test.koro.de/en/products_streetengines_gt3.html ). I'm not against it as I believe the flat-6 is as sacred as the NA BMW M motor, but I'm baffled at how such increases in displacement are possible. I thought porsche said 4.0 is the furthest they could go safely which is why thats the size of the gt3 rsr.

        p.s.
        TPC rocks!

I really don't know how they are going to 4.3 but they haven't done it yet. GT3's have been pushed to 4.1 or so. I don't know how Koro does what they do.

Badass as you stated. Porsche has the best NA motors. Don't bring up Ferrari I'm not talking about that.
