• BMW 335 battle - E90 automatic with JB4 at 16 psi takes on a Vishnu Procede E92 6 speed at 18 psi

The BMS versus Vishnu N54 tuner fight is one of those never ending wars with battles fought again and again with victories on both sides often leaving fanboys crying and disoriented. It is great to see actual comparisons in the real world instead of the typical forum flame war and we have such a comparison right here. The E90 in the video has a JB4 on map 3 16 psi, BMS meth kit, ER charge pipe, Synapse BOV, AR catless downpipes, HPF intercooler, and BMS DCI. The E92 has the Procede aggressive map at 18 psi, PWM meth kit, AR Downpipes, Vishnu charge pipe, muffler delete, and Stett CAI.

The E90 with the JB4 and less boost surprisingly pulls the E92 with the Procede on both runs. No word on if Shiv@Vishnu had a heart attack after seeing the result or if the Vishnu fanboys grabbed pitchforks and torches and are marching on the location of the BimmerBoost server as you read this. To be fair, the E92 6 speed had clutch slipping and meth issues. Definitely a cool comparison to see and there is no denying the automatic is more consistent. We look forward to seeing a rematch.

I wouldn't stop it from being posted? I just likely wouldn't take the time to promote it to the front page or write anything on it. There are things sponsorship does buy you like positive coverage.

At that point, you should have shut it down and looked for the problem.

p.s. The CEL was not a "fluke", it was a procede trouble code indicating an overflow condition (meth flow not set right or parameters not set right)
You dont know what you are talking about. You only heard a short bit of the conversation which is out of context. The computer was not working correctly and we werent even able to see the logs. I was saying "thats good" as in I finished the log. All of your post was just an uneducated guess. Were you there? If the answer is no, dont bother commenting. And the problem was the grounding. It had nothing to do with the parameters, good job.

I posted it. The answer is yes.

I suppose we haven't had a good tuner war in a while so this was due.
One thing we were able to look at before the computer froze and shut off was the boost curve. He hit a max of 18.6psi but there were a few dips. This isnt even a tuner war, we just have a bunch of uneducated 16 year olds posting on some of the forums.

Right. It is still a race, even or not. It is all for entertainment.

Yeah, I forgot two cars had to have the same amount of modifications to race. Click here to enlarge

Enjoy the video, everyone. Get ready for the next one.

I hope next time you keep this in mind. Also, without Terry and Shiv there in person to witness it clearly the video is invalid and even possibly CGI/fake.

And I guess I wont speak next time, because apparently people can understand a whole conversation by hearing two words.

Can't wait to see the next race! just curious, but since his meth wasn't flowing, why did he still hit 18.6 psi? If meth was flowing would he have run more boost or timing?

I guess because ign correction was set to 0. But he most definitely hit 18.6psi, he will even tell you that.

The new aggressive maps can hit high boost numbers without meth

Let's compare a new F10 M5 and CLS 63, but remove a spark plug out of the Benz. This will be a good representation of both....

Wasn't suggesting that people wern't, and I did mention it's a great video and it does mention the issues but having driven both cars somewhat recently it's not really fair to use that as a basis for comparison. More like a teaser.

The re-match, that will be epic.

Okay, just trying to understand why a car running 16 psi would beat a car running 18.6 psi whether meth was flowing or not. Does running the meth map add in a bunch of timing?

Of course you can...you can also race two stock cars...what's your point? I'm just saying if they're trying to go all out to first get the cars running 100%

...or, just don't go for the much more expensive option when a cheaper option works just as well
