      Revozport makes a lot of great carbon fiber products. They recently released an intake made out of carbon fiber for the MKVI GTI. The carbon work looks great and it is priced at $280. The only objection we have is the are marketing this without any performance gains or dyno numbers. Are we just supposed to pay for the pretty carbon fiber or is there a performance aspect that goes along with an intake as expected?

        looks like APR knock off lol. Hate these types of intakes, water gets in them and sit on the bottom of the carbon plastic waiting to be sucked it at the right time.

        So you don't recommend this style for this motor? What would you suggest?

        I personally do not. Something like this would be better..

        Vf's or BSH intake. Neuspeed Pflo intake isnt bad Either. Just one that isnt a case like that. The head is directed at the grill, when it is raining it will accumulate after a while. It's kinda like RPI scoops you guys have in your m3's but those scoops dont retain water lol.

        Usually don't get any gains from intakes or bolt on's with these cars. The bosch med 17.1 or something like that has a learn down feature. Only get gains from tuning.. :/

        Not at all! In terms of performance no gains on paper until you get a tune. In law of physics when I got it I notices much less turbo lag. It was almost like a NA engine even though it does already have a tiny turbo lol. I got better miles per gallon too, it is worth it in the long run.
