      This is a video of the F10 M5 gauge cluster as it accelerates from a stand still to 300 km/h. For those not familiar with KPH 300 works out to 186 miles per hour. Launch control is not used on the car and it spins the tires noticeably from the standstill which is no surprise. Once it hooks it moves pretty fast but does start to slow a bit up top. Still, hitting 186 MPH as quickly as it does clearly shows there is a lot of horsepower at work here. A video of a CLS63 with a tune accelerating from 0-300 is provided for comparison.

        lol @ the 40 kilometers on the odometer... that's awesome Click here to enlargeI think the reason that the last 40 km/h took "long" is because he short shifted his last gear... the car/engine looked like it fell flat on it's nose after his final shift. that car is a monster.

        Fast is as fast does. I have no idea what I just said but the F10 is FAST.BMW M.....way to go gentleman, keep bringin it!

        There is no doubt all these new cars are straight highway monsters! I absolutely cannot wait to see some tuned F10 M5s. I'm still waiting on the new M3 to come to make my decision on what car I pick up next....haha

        In Germany I think they have a secondary limiter as an option.

        I found another video - in this one, they let the car do it's own thing and shift at redline... I "timed" (estimated) it at about 30 seconds to 300km/h - as opposed to ~37s for the other one.
