      Congratulations to BimmerBoost member akh23456 and Active Autowerke. Akash's E90 M3 with DCT and the Active Autowerke Stage 2 kit with meth injection set the new quickest boost only 1/4 mile time with a run of 11.2@126. The quickest/fastest overall E9X M3 time was set with nitrous so this is now the quickest run with boost only. Even more incredible is that the record settings runs were done on street tires. 10 second car with drag radials? Certainly a possibility.

        im trapping 117 best here (this is BEFORE my tune and a heavy passenger), and this is against a 6 speed VT1.......so the VT1 speed speed is around 117-118 trap range.......look at what the DCT VT1-535 was able to accomplish at the track 125....so obviously there is a huge difference between DCT and 6 Speed....
        im still waiting to see a DCT ESS stg2 or 600 kit car here on the East coast. maybe then if it delivers, ill believe the hype Click here to enlarge

        Well, VAC and VF engineering just took the title from akash, so who cares about the sub-records. It fastest NA, fastest boost only, and fastest overall, and then of course quickest (ET). Records lose their value when sub-categories are made.to make everyone feel like a winner

        people should just slap on hoosier DRs instead of MT ETs, think they work out a bit better...my next set is Hoosiers (ran on MT ET DRs so far)..they're also lighter

        I found my slips and was going to post I still had the 60 foot record but looks like I don't any longer. Where is the slip?
