• Porsche pulls off the impossible and makes hybrids cool as well as a serious performance option - 911 GT3 R Hybrid 2.0

We are not big fans of hybrids. We do not like the Prius. We do not like Prius owners. We like cars that make the ground shake, tires smoke, and scare the elderly as well as small children. Porsche however has managed to make a car that can do all that previously mentioned while being eco friendly and badass at the same time. Introducing The Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid 2.0 sporting an awesome 672 horsepower.

For those who are unaware this car has actually managed to beat ALMS GT class cars this year but the victory obviously did not count since this vehicle is not yet eligible for that class but was allowed to race. It is all wheel drive with two electric motors powering the front wheels sending an extra 200 horsepower. Version 2.0 is more powerful, lighter, and more efficient. The aerodynamics have also been improved.

Can hybrids can be considered cool? Well, Porsche certainly has managed to produce one that can be viewed as such.
