      Here is our coverage of Volkswagen from the 2011 LA Auto Show. There really was not anything all too exciting from VW. They had plenty of models to show off though and also brought the very cool looking Bettle R concept that we hope somehow makes it to production. They were also showing off a hybrid Touareg that had the first supercharged hybrid powertrain in the world. Not exciting from an enthusiast perspective but it is a world first.

      MKV GTI in red, very nice:








      4 door Golf R which looked pretty good:






      The Bettle R looked great, hopefully it comes to market with AWD and an awesome motor:

      Here is the hybrid supercharged Touareg which is a world's first:












      VW was pushing its TDI technology which was great to see. VW is at least giving us more and more diesel options and we hope this trend continues:










      Just the standard Beetle which also looks good:








      A wagon on TSW rims, looked pretty nice, elegant:

        VW makes good $#@!...

        I feel a lot more comfortable knowing that my wife is driving a solid german car like the passat as opposed to some paper honda.

        I like what VW is doing as well. Hope that Beetle R comes to market.

        Feel the same way. It don't look like a "chick" car as much, way more appealing to guys.

        I say this to anyone who would rather buy a toyota or honda over vw for the same price. It's just retarded.
