      You may remember that AutoExpress drag raced the 1M against the DSG RS3 a few months back. In that comparison, the Audi won by virtue of its dual clutch transmission and all wheel drive launch although the 1M had the higher trap speed. This time both cars are taken around a road course and the 1M just flat out crushes the Audi by almost 2 seconds on what is a fairly short track. The driver mentions the Audi is heavier and more of a car for beginners with understeer versus the 1M which is more nimble and often requires the throttle to correct the tail stepping out.         That 1M is just gorgeous. The track was wetter when the rs3 was lapping first so w/e. still a good comparison

        Ok, wait ?? it was unfair to compare the 1M against a Golf... but it can be compared to a Audi Hatchback ?

        The 1M is what they should've done with the M3's (well that level of awesomeness) for the going out bang for the E9X body. It deserves it...

        This Audi hatchback is much different than the Golf. R This is an Audi not a VW so price is comparable and so is the power. This is the same motor in the TTRS that I brought up when I said TTRS vs 1M

        5 cylinder 2.5 liter k04 turbo compared to Inline 6 3.0 liter twin turbo.

        I just read the new Motor Trend 11best driver's car comparo. Such a scathing report. Guy said the 1M understeered horribly and couldnt put power down effectively. Said he didnt hate many cars, but he hated the BMW. It placed second to last. I remember the BMW was almost last place in their massive drag race too. Man..Motortrend must hate BMWs.
