      A French BMW blog decided to render their take on what an E84 X1 M would look like. The rendering obviously looks better than the real deal but the idea of an X1M is not really our cup of tea. Will it happen? Well, the X1 is very hot at the moment with demand far outstripping supply. As a matter of fact, BMW can not produce enough to even bring the car to the USA. What motor would this car get if produced? Likely a higher horsepower version of the N20 turbo 4 cylinder putting it somewhere in the 340 horsepower range. Will it happen? Time will tell but expect an X3M first.

        With all the platform sharing that will be going on that likely isn't far from the truth.

        Rather see it with heavy duty suspension components, lifted and with some off-road tires....Otherwise I don't see the point.

        ^ All BMW X series should follow that path. No sense in having an over-sized and worse performing version of the same car.

        Image the cult that would follow if BMW started making real SUVs/SAVs....
