    • Dads Performance and MHP W204 C63 AMG Widebody kit, 355 rear tires and pricing in the $5000 range

Here is a new widebody option for W204 C63 AMG cars. A very well priced and attractive option considering the pricing will be somewhere in the $5000 range. The body kit is all steel, no carbon reinforced plastic or anything like that. One can go to up to 355 rear tires in back. Considering what some of the C63 AMG's are putting out power wise, being able to go that wide should mitigate some traction issues. In order to get this kit one has to send their car to Orlando, Florida.

This is not really a body kit now, is it?
This is a one-off creation with some cutting, welding and a lot of bondo. I must hand it to them, they are pretty good with the bondo. It looks sharp after painting. But it is no body kit. No bolt-ons, no reversal. Hack, saw, weld, grind, bondo, sand and paint. And elbow grease.

Looks weird. It doesn't flow with the rest of the car.

I do not think that includes install.

???? Then what are they selling for $5k? A quart of bondo is $30, sheet metal required for a project like this is another $150 so where's the other $4800 if install is not included?

You have to ask @MHP LLC

Its got to include install because $5000 is not enough to cover wheels and rubber, enless they are offering longer control arms and axles (which is the proper way to do a wide body conversion) but then again I don't think $5000 would cover those either. I am not critizing this project or product in any way, I think it looks awesome, just wondering what somebodys $5k gets em. Hopefully they are not going to do this with wheel spacers or wheels with a funky backspacing, it will handle like crap and be very hard on wheel bearings.

These are all good questions and I hope MHP answers them.

To each their own, I like it.
