    • Gintani Stage 3 low compression built motor supercharged E92 M3 on low boost takes on a tuned Nissan GTR

The M3 in this video belongs to BimmerBoost member EugeneTaiwan. Eugene has a low compression built motor Gintani Stage 3 setup paired to a 6 speed manual that he is running on low boost at only 15 psi. He is progressively increasing the boost as he tests it out since the tuning for the Stage 3's is in a process of refinement and evolution. The GTR is tuned and down low the dual clutch transmission helps it out tremendously but up top the M3 runs away decisively.

Nothing really, just need to take it slowly to be cautious. Make sure the tune is perfect, engine is perfect, etc. If they push it before testing at low boost diligently and something happens you know all the fanboys will grab their pitchforks and march on Gintani headquarters. Just better to do it slow and cautious.

Then you should organize that comparison. It isn't really realistic to expect them or anyone else to do timed laps around a circuit. Would be cool to see, but 99% of what will be in this section will be runs like this as they correspond to real world roll on races. We want to see the power which is what the supercharger is all about.

I've gone tracking twice already and I have to say! the power is way to much for the track. its really hard to get out of the corner, well maybe because I'm still using 295s

Just curious why you call 15 lbs "low boost". Gintani told me the weren't going to take it above 16lbs to play it safe, even if it could theoretically handle 20lbs or so.

Because they have hit 10 psi on the stock motor, even 11 i think. So with a built low compression motor 15 psi is really nothing much and not pushing it.

With meth, I expect to see 20 psi at least.
