    • APR releases high boost pulley for Audi 3.0 TFSI Supercharged V6 (B8 S4, A7) +108 AWHP with tune

The new 3.0 TFSI supercharged V6 is becoming a popular Audi mod platform as Audi boosted motors often are. APR had an ECU tune available already for some time which was their Stage I upgrade. The pulley is their Stage 2 upgrade and to see the benefit it is best used in conjunction with the ECU tune otherwise the car will dump the excess boost. Gains with the ECU tune are very healthy at just over 100 horsepower at all four wheels, 117 AWHP with 100 octane.

Are you planning on actually doing that? Turbo with built motor?

I'm hoping somebody does a supercharger upgrade for these cars. I also hope the Q5 gets this motor...

I don't know about build motor , we dont know yet the limit of the stock block , Twin turbo this is not the problem , the problem is tune .

        As always the tune... yep.

There is plenty to get out of it with superchargers though....

Sticky, your math may be off here. From the graphs, it looks like stock max HP is 327 AWHP, tune/pulley/intake/exhaust/93oct is 388 AWHP, and tune/pulley/intake/exhaust/100 oct is 402 AWHP.

Looks like I made a mistake, thanks for catching it.

No worries. Click here to enlarge These B8 S4's are nice... the new A6's too.

i wonder why the S4 STG2 yields better numbers than the A6 STG 2? I thought the only difference in the stock applications were the tuning? if that's the case couldn't they just use the same exact S4 tune for the A6 to achieve the same numbes? Or are there internal difference between the two 3.0 engines that makes up the difference in performance yields?

The A6 uses an automatic tranny from what I understand and comes in detuned form vs. the S4.

powerband of this motor looks eerily similar to the N54... would be cool to see two fbo race

That's my point. If the only difference in stock is the tune then the A6 should be able to handle the same tune (stock or aftermarket) as any S4 and get the same results on a dyno right?

If this is true (i have no idea really) then that would make the A6 a full size sleeper beast if it could take the STG2 S4 set up!

I see no reason why the A6 could not do the same as the A4, the trans being the main hold up.
