    • APR releases high boost pulley for Audi 3.0 TFSI Supercharged V6 (B8 S4, A7) +108 AWHP with tune

      The new 3.0 TFSI supercharged V6 is becoming a popular Audi mod platform as Audi boosted motors often are. APR had an ECU tune available already for some time which was their Stage I upgrade. The pulley is their Stage 2 upgrade and to see the benefit it is best used in conjunction with the ECU tune otherwise the car will dump the excess boost. Gains with the ECU tune are very healthy at just over 100 horsepower at all four wheels, 117 AWHP with 100 octane.

        Just get me a trap speed in the quarter mile and I'm happy. I don't care if the car makes 700WHP, if the car weighs 15 tons, it'll still be slow.

        I was reading they hit 12.2 at 116 on 93 octane with apr tune intake and exhaust.

        Both probably got the same time. Goes to show how much stronger this car is than the S5.

        doesnt really show one is stronger than the other, its always power/weight. Id still hop in an S5 if they can get it to trap 120, regardless of power it takes to do it. but i dont do 4 dorrs, so the above is not on the table for me

        This car with just a tune can match an S5 with a blower. I think one is a much better mod platform than the other...

        That is pretty quick... There should be no reason our cars couldn't hit this speed without methanol.

        Not that I've seen. One of the guys on the list had a meth kit with his stage 1 flash, and didn't seem to help much.

        Interested to see what the 400+awhp stage 2+ is doing. I am sure we will know sooner or later.

        I do not see why this would not work for all applications with this motor.

        Thanks Sticky. i just saw on their website that it's "coming soon" for the A6.

        I never seriously thought about an Audi before but this might be a good alternative if S4 development keeps coming that might translate to the A6 3.0.

        I never took Audi all that seriously either but that is quickly changing.

        I just saw APRs Coolant Performance Solution (CPS). Those guys are serious!

        I wonder how stout the 3.0T is in regards to forged parts? If it's anything like the N54 then this engine could be a beast if Audi has somewhat better fueling solutions than BMW.

        Details on the coolant performance solution? I'm going to go look it up.

        glorified FMIC upgrade with a better pump and seperate coolant reservoir. Sill cool though. maybe could improve the lean conditions at redline on the agressive tune I read about a few posts down?
