    • First BMW to crack 200 mph in the mile, ICS Performance Turbo E36 M Coupe runs 200.3 MPH at the Texas Mile

A major congratulations to ICS performance is in order. There was some controversy a couple weeks back regarding this M coupe putting down 784 whp on the dyno. Whether the runs were made on pump gas or not the fact is the car is incredibly fast recording a major BMW performance breakthrough. There were members asking for performance figures other than the dyno and now they have them, with the car breaking all BMW records at the Texas mile and being the first BMW to run over 200 mph in the mile. Congratulations to George and everyone at Imported Cars of Stamford.

      Some additional details:

30 mph head wind hindered many cars.

178 mph was achieved on 23 psi.

190 mph was achieved on 26 psi.

Boost or turbo changes for the 200 mph run and changes from the 784 whp have not been disclosed yet. Videos of the runs coming soon.

Bro your a total "Immature Dick Head" Posting pictures like that, the funny thing is I did not do that BOV install.. It was done by a local welder.. I would have never let the vehicle go like that if I knew it was installed in such away, nothing would make you and your boys happier to see me fail or fall on my face - Guess what it will never happen.

It's not too late to grow up Bro.. You've been in time out so many times, it looks as if your trying to beat Mr Kahn's Record.

I think some people owe you some apologies and it is unfortunate you have taken such an online beating over minuscule issues from years ago.

Congrats on a great BMW record as well as improving your BBB rating and just overall image. Keep it up George, this is the kind of thing that can change perception.

Man that sucks that the welder did that kind of work. It happens I guess from time to time any where. Understandable. No 1 wants anyone to fall on there face. Relax you are starting post like Mert, and we don't want that. Why bring up Khan he isn't here. If you need to speak with him call him.Click here to enlarge

Craig cut the BS... I don't need anyone's approval on how I am doing. I am very secure in what I do and what I have accomplished., I do NOT need reassurance from anyone.

Nice pass ICS! Wish I was out there for this one. The Texas Mile is always a blast! I'm only a few hours away.

Did anyone happen to get video?

George view my posts. I do not see crap talk above. If you read them you will see that I'm stating it is harder to go fast in the z3m, because of its aero. Also that it would be easier to go faster with 1 of ur e36's. I do not see that as an attack. Click here to enlarge Either way we look forward to more runs.Click here to enlarge

I hear you but you and I know your intentions are very different. I do not appreciate you patting me on the back with one hand and stabbing me in the back with the other hand.

I was born at night but not last night.

This is a major step in the right direction and a major achievement.
i dont think the 2 can correlate really as gearing would have to be a major part of the 200mph goal,

I always read it was .32 for the E36 M3 and .37 for the M coupe.
