      ESS Tuning revealed their S85 V10 supercharger kit at Bimmerfest 2011. They handed out flyers with details showing the pricing information as well as dynos of the kits. It is difficult to see the graphs but they are claiming about 560 rear wheel horsepower for the VT2 at 6 psi at a price of $15,995 and in the 530 whp range for the VT1 at 5 psi for $11,995. Eloy at RPI was wrong about the pricing as he started a rumor about a sub $10k price point likely to generate interest.




      There is a typo in the flyer, torque for the VT1 should be 360 and 365 not in the 4XX range as written:

        good to see there more options available now, but i was expecting more.
        price is ok compared to G-power, but G-power has much more HP.

        G-power has built motor stages, that is why.

        For the money, this can't be beat.

        If you want more power, the G-power SKIII is the way to go right now.

        what about stage I and II, they are built motors as well ?
        there was a German dude which claimed his M6 RR puts 680whp on DJ, not sure if it was real number or what but his car was scary fast, suggested him the BB for posting graphs he said he's a member but i forgot the username.

        Precision Sport has posted some awesome G-power dyno numbers, pretty impressive. I think I remember seeing something in the 6xx range, not sure.

        Stage I and II are not built motors.

        Looking at those graphs, the torque numbers look off...

        The VT1 kit is claiming to make 465 ft/lbs of torque, while the VT2 is claiming 395 ft/lbs. Given that the increase of HP on the VT2 is 6% higher - guessing that first number should be 365 ft/lbs?

        Regardless, this kit looks pretty awesome. Would love to drive an M6 with that puppy attached to it. It would be one serious mountain machine.

        This looks like a great mod.
        Considering that the G-Power SK-II (makes about 580-585 rwhp) costs $41,000 this is a great bargain for making power.
        When it becomes available I will be all over it. Considering the money I've had defrauded I could have gotten an G-Power set up already.

        btw I noticed the front truss bars have to be eliminated.

        Don't want to say anything to remind you of what could have been, but yes, you could have easily had an SKII or SKIII G-power setup and have been enjoying your car.
