      Now, you might be scratching your head, why 573 whp when the previous dyno released was 640 whp? Well, this dyno no longer has the dip the 640 whp dyno had which leads us to believe the boost was turned down to not have torque limiter issues. We were told this dyno was 10-11 psi vs. the previous 14 psi. The dyno was done on C16 race gas as well, just like the previous dyno. What we gather from this is that going over 10 psi created issues for the torque limiters in the ECU and transmission software. So while this dyno does not make as much power, it is cleaner and provides a steady curve until redline.

        Weistec did a great job of nailing the A/Fs for a race gas file. Nice work guys!

        The A/F ratio does look pretty nice.... but did they ever get a chance to run with stronger idler pullies yet?

        dang only 570 whp and it looks so fast. well wtf am i saying, this car is a monster

        Area under the curve (esp. TQ) looks huge... I'm sure from off-idle throttle tip-in on up, this 63 runs like the wind. Look forward to seeing some track results as well, for this power/torque level.

        I presume to dial-in the boost they're looking for, they're swapping upper pullies (i.e. S/C pulley)?

        Yes, they would have to be swapping the pulleys.

        Andy, I may be confused (not unlikely) but I thought you guys were handling the tuning for these kits?

        Agreed, the AFR's look great for race gas.

        On another note, I think this dyno lends some support to the point I was trying to make on MBWorld that one of the cars with a stage 1 kit running around on 91 octane is not making 550 whp on 5 psi.

        Edit: I made a mistake in comparing a C63's stock tune with that of a BS. So, yeah, dumb on my part.

        I think MHP tuning is an option with the kits

        As Sticky stated our tuning is an option (not standard) for those purchasing Weistec superchargers, we have not tuned ecampbell's car or jrcarts for the record, that was all Weistec.

        I'm going to have to agree with you on that, it doesn't make much sense that a near stock car running 91 CA gas makes 550rw and this monster with double the boost, race gas, in trunk cooler, ported heads, full exhaust, etc is only 23rw up. Maybe we can get ecampbell over here so we can figure it out?

        Nice to hear the weather is nice there. Here, we have a slight reprieve in the heat. Was near 100, now it seems it's closer to 80's.

        Even though I made a mistake in thinking ecampbell's car was a C63, which negated my calculations, it's still a lot of power for a near stock BS at 5psi. Thanks for the feedback and clarification on the other point about tuning options.

        Would like more details on this. What type of setup does ecambell have?

        From what I read he's stock though he may have SLS cams in it now. He has the Stage 1 Weistec kit (5psi) with emissions legal tune running 91 CA octane.

        IIRC he has dyno results and either has or will post them. It's been a while since I've been over there but there was more info about his car in both the 204 and CLK BS forums

        How is he making 550 rwhp at 5 psi yet Jim is making 574 at 10-11 psi with heads, cams, race gas, etc?
