      Here are the preliminary results for JRCART's CLK63 Black Series running the Weistec supercharger. The car has the Weistec race supercharger package which includes the Weistec heads, cams, and fuel system including larger injectors. The car ran 14.5 psi of boost on stock internals which is incredible really. That is a lot of boost for the stock internals to handle. The tires were slipping on the dyno due to the power which can be seen in the graph so these are just preliminary results. They will be trying again with new rubber in the next few days and likely hitting the 7XX whp range.

        yea, thats what i was thinking, or if its the initial runs they maybe wanted to take easy up top to check on a few things.

        It's 100% where the tires lost grip of the rollers, Steve has video of it and video of it still happeningwith two guys sitting in the trunk trying to plant it but with no such luck. Should be interesting on the track tha's for sure.

        Steve is free to post the video himself or e-mail it if he wants.

        Also, Jim did discuss the tire slipping issue with me earlier so that no doubt explains the dip. Look forward to seeing the results with proper traction.

        Didn't think the M156 would really be offering a real challenge to the boosted M3's. If I had known it would develop this way I might be in a 63 of some sort, well done JRCART.

        Congrats! Im sure those #s will be higher on the new dyno run! 640-700 whp is no joke!

        What LTH are you running?

        14.5 psi is pretty high! To be honest I thought at that boost it would make much more power thou. I mean if the M3 engine is making 600whp at around 7.5-9psi Id think the m156 would make much more with 14.5lbs. Although the m156 is making another level of torque

        The M3 is going to be more efficient in making hp per pound of boost due to its higher redline, flatter curve, and higher compression.

        However, this is not the final power level for this motor. There is much more in it as you can see with the torque/hp curves dropping off.

        Wow... BIG power. Congrats. You must be happy to finally get it on the Dyno. Way to harness that 6.2's power!!

        Put some Drags on this thing and get it to the track. Bets on what it explodes first? I think the engine can handle it but the drivetrain..... Any upgrades to the tranny, axles or Rear?

        No, that was another Black Series with a Weistec SC. That car has less mods yet it still makes an impressive 550rwhp.

        Amazing results... congrats, hope it holds together for you at the track.

        Are the cams from the SLS/M159? Or aftermarket?

        One week from today we will be running at the drag strip at Fontana, not an ideal track but we need to get it out on a track to see what it can do nonetheless. Axles are not a major concern, I was sparaying nitrous and making 620rwhp with MT Streets ET's right out of the hole and never snapped an axle however it was not making nearly as much torque, I still don't think the axles will be the weak link.

        Congrats Jim. Was this run with the Dymags or with the drag setup you had prepped for Famoso ? Nice numbers under the curve and that thing was well on it's way to 700+ before they lifted. I'm cracking up thinking about two dudes in the trunk when it started losing traction LOL...Who'd they piss off to get that job ??!!! I see this thing making 750whp easy. The transmission holding together is going to be an entirely different story...Hit me up when you're here and I'll roll out to Fantana with ya. Can't wait to see this thing run. Say bye bye to the records.

        I can't wait to see how the car is best shifted at the 1/4 mile track.

        Congrats!

        Those are some big numbers. Once you keep that thing strapped down I wouldn't
        be surprised to see over 700HP @ the wheels.

        Honestly with that much power, first gear is gonna be useless. In stock form it's already very limited as is for traction. Id play with C mode to get it to start in second and feather the throttle off the line, then hit the trans mode button again and throw it into S for the rest of the run. Or, with more practice, M mode all the way short shifting in first. But that'll take prob 10 runs or so to get it right. Either way - records will fall and Jims ricer hooptie will prevail Click here to enlarge
