      You all saw the race between MSIZZLE's M6 and the twin turbo 370Z. Well, BimmerBoost user blkclk550 edited all the footage into what is a great vid. The intro is awesome and overall it is very well done, check out the video below.

        In the end it always comes down to personal preference. To me the Corvette and M3 are totally different cars. One is a sports car and the other is a sports coupe.That's what GM made the cts v for to compete in the sports coupe market vs M3 and cars like it.

        An m3 cant compete with a stock ls2 or ls3. The auto ls3 I don't know but 6speeds the vette wins allll day long. From a dig a roll whatever. Th vette weighs less has better traction and has 105 more torque than the M3. How in the world would it keep up from a roll or dig? And that interior is nice but I prefer the Interiors that Infinity, Acura, and Audi design. Oh and the CTS V looks better than that M3 Interior, especially the black diamond edition CTS V.
        What are you talking about? When I was stock I had no trouble with an LS2. With bolt on's, I handed plenty of LS3's their ass.

        Are you familiar at all with M3 times? Do you understand the advantage of a dual clutch transmission? Have you looked at the M3's gearing? How has the M3 run 11's with just bolt on's with way less torque? Explain that. $#@!, bolt on M3's have put up better times than you did boosted.

        Infiniti and Acura interiors? Seriously? Your interior opinion posting privileges have been revoked.

        It's a matter of opinion really I don't think the CTS-V interior is as good, still has that GM plasticky feel to it. The point really is the Vette interior is junk in comparison and GM has a long way to go, CTS included.

        The CTS-V traps 116. For a 6.2 liter boosted V8 that isn't all that impressive.

        No, it won't. Didn't in my case, had no trouble with an LS2. Additionally, when I had bolt on's I ran a C5 Z06 that had heads/cams, should have gotten crushed, but I pulled.

        Anyway, I have seen LS2's run from 108-112 at the strip the same time I was doing 111-112's stock. Don't tell me the LS2 would win as it depends on a lot of factors like transmission, it is pretty much a drivers race.

        Additionally, I knew a guy who had a Z51 LS3 auto. I had no trouble with him with bolt on's.

        Can't believe people are still so far behind on M3 performance numbers.

        Lmfao easy sticky the m3 is not that fast. And I could careless about my time all I was worried about was my trap speed. Bolt on for bolt on an m3 cannot and will not pull on an ls2 or ls3. Your smokin some good $#@! let me get some of that.

        I know you have an M3 so you have to stick up for it but your not whoopin on ls3s buddy. Put the pipe down lol.

        IMO,for the type of driving I do (I.E-non autocross type crap) best BANG for BUCK would be the new Mustang GT,a few simple bolt-ons&ur in the 11s..next would be a C6 Vette..I could mod that car&have it running low 11s for what a damn full exhaust&tune cost on a new M3 lol

        I agree 100 percent the new stand is no joke for the price as far as performance goes.

        Absolutely right! The new Mustangs are true beasts at a great price. Vettes are right behind it but perhaps can be considered on the same level because although the Vette's are a bit more, you are also getting better handling and a sexier body style...although the new 5.0 Mustangs look pretty nice.

        Mustang and the CLK550 are both RWD V8's. They both need traction, though the CLK will be a bit easier to drive because it is lacking 20hp+- and the German cars are always a bit easier, IMO. MILF-mobile? lol! I bet the 5.0 Mustang attracts more attention than the w209 but that is a different story.


        Conclusion: American cars absolutely provide the best bang for your buck! The interiors may not be European standard, but some of the newer cars come with some pretty wild interiors. I got 10x the compliments on the interior of my CTS-V than I did with the E60 M5...

        No seriously the stang is no joke especially the laguna seca edition. 440hp 380trq, race tuned suspension with adjustable dampening, aero kit that really works, no back seats, a nice chassis bar where the back seats would be, wider tires etc. That thing runs circles around M3s!

        As far as performance goes, there is NO comparison between an M3 and a C6 Corvette.
