      This is a great race to see, BimmerBoost and BenzBoost members DD GT3 RD and DLSJ5 racing their C63 P31 and M3 DCT respectively. The C63 P31 is stock and the DCT M3 has a catless X-pipe and Borla mufflers. The C63 with the P31 package is the decisively faster and for the M3 to win it would definitely take a tune. Check out the video below.

        Honestly, the M3 puts up a pretty good fight vs a tuned P31 C63, nothing to be ashamed of. The C63 in NA form is stronger.

        My ECU is stock. Needed to smog it, it would pass with the tune, but had to take it to MB and the guy would only do it if it was stock. So had to flash it back, haven't tuned it again.

        Ok, so guess the C63 was reset to stock.

        If the M3 had a tune I'm thinking it would have taken it. No scoops Drew?
        I actually dont think he would take me with the tune, but we will have to see. If he ends up getting one we will run again hopefully.

        Good question, im asking myself the same. Looking into deleting secondary cats using an x-pipe or something. Not sure what, yet. Might not do anything thou.

        also the race from the dig, Drew was the better driver. We only did it once, but I spun my tires quite a bit in first, so as you can see he got me good.

        Nice runs, guys. Click here to enlarge C63 walks a little... but it's pretty even - not a "buslengths beating" as sometimes witnessed with very mismatched competitors.

        I don't follow the BMW boards as much... did the M3 previously have an engine failure from running the S/C?

        this is sick! p31 has so much torque. no replacement for displacement. I was kinda surprised i thgouth it would have been even with the bolt ons. but i guess that p31 is really nothing less than a factory beast.

        Scoops I always felt were a great mod especially when running from a roll. Every HP counts...

        Also just to add info, I believe on the slower starting races drew was in 1st and myself in 2nd. I tried starting in 3rd one time from around 40 but its just too slow.of a speed for 3rd, so he took off and I caught back up.

        That is true, when possible I started the the most optimal gear I could, I doubt we both ever started in the same gear, except when we went from a dig.

        FWIW I do have scoops, lol.

        I ran a stock C63 with MHP tune this weekend and an M5 in my VF Stg.2. I was amazed how awesome the C63 sounds at WOT!
