Well that was fast! Eurocharged has released their flash tune software for the BMW F10 M5 S63TU V8. On the Eurocharged Dyno Dynamics dyno (more conservative than a dynojet) the F10 M5 goes from a baseline of 488.4 wheel horsepower to 542.8 wheel horsepower. This is a gain of 54.4 horsepower to the rear wheels on the more highly strung technical update S63 4.4 liter Twin Turbo V8 in the F10 M5. Very, very solid gains. ...Published on 04-04-2013 10:15 PM
Misha Designs has released a new body kit for the 997 generation Porsche 911 called the GTM2. The car below wearing the kit is a 997.2 Carrera S but the body kit is available for all 997 Carrera models. The front of the kit leaves a gap in the front bumper by the bonnet mimicking a sort of GT3 style with the entire front bumper offering large and aggressive air duct openings. The new ML63 is a beast thanks to the M157 5.5 liter twin turbo V8 under the hood. And AMG though is supposed to be about far more than just a big motor and straightline speed but unfortunately the new ML63 reminds us that AMG just is not quite as track focused as its rivals, Black Series notwithstanding. Some really nice power figures here achieved on a Golf R with the Lobo Motorsport L0400 turbocharger and GIAC tuning. The baseline for the Golf R on the four wheel drive Mustang dyno is 229 wheel horsepower and 229 pound-feet of torque at the wheels. With the bigger turbocharger 100 octane fuel this goes to 311 horsepower at the wheels for a gain of 82 horsepower at all four wheels. The BMW X4 which was officially confirmed for production in a press release just a couple weeks ago is already ready to be shown to the world as a concept car as BMW often does displaying the design before the official production model is ready. Well, here it is, and basically it just looks like a smaller X6 although with updates headlights and taillights. This is quite simply awesome. Roland Sands is a former motorcycle racer who once he finished racing struggled to fill the void in his life. Well, he created Roland Sands Design and took the passion he had for racing and applied that energy toward designing bikes. His latest design happened to be based on a BMW S1000RR and the result is quite simply badass. Very nice result here from a W211 E55 AMG with the Weistec 3.0 liter twin screw M113K V8 supercharger upgrade which we previously have seen run a 10.7@132. The car has the same modifications as it did previously which consist of the 3.0 liter twin screw blower of course, the Weistec 82mm throttle body, headers, drag radials, but with the main difference of 100 octane race fuel versus a blend which was used previously and ice in the trunk cooler. ...Published on 04-03-2013 12:51 PM
Well the facelift for the Panamera is officially here and just as PorscheBoost reported previously the Panamera S and Panamera 4S get a very exciting new motor. The new 3.0 liter turbo V6 gives a 20 horsepower boost on the previous 4.8 liter naturally aspirated V8 for a total of 420 horsepower. Wish AudiBoost could say this this is a good race but the Camaro ZL1 simply gets demolished. The Camaro is no slouch with a supercharged 6.2 liter LSA V8 with 580 horsepower from the factory. This B5 S4 has a GIAC Extreme E85 tune, FrankenTurbo F21 hybrid turbos, water-meth injection, Evolution Racewerks intercoolers, three inch downpipes, and Integrated Engineering connecting rods. Here is the RDsport exhaust for the F10 M5 with the S63TU V8. This is a full exhaust system going all the way from the turbos back with downpipes, x-pipe, and a rear section. The system looks pretty good, not the prettiest BimmerBoost has seen, but the appearance is solid. The pricing on it does not make it much of a value with retail at $8,028.00 with an estimated 8 hour install. 8 hours to install this? Really? Wow, major achievement here and quite an improvement on what this car was doing previously which already was incredibly impressive. This vehicle previously hit 10.3@133 on stock turbos with full weight. Champion Motorsport gave the car some stickier rubber and the time improved quite a bit. How does [email]9.837@135 sound? Very impressive results here from a completely stock E550 coupe. The M278 4.6 liter twin turbo V8 is looking more and more impressive powering this particular vehicle belonging to BenzBoost member nawlinstornado to a 12.428@115.13. That elapased time was achieved with the factory runflat Continental tires and no limited slip differential. Nice race here with a strong B5 S4 going up against a bolt on C6 Z06. The Z06 is a quick car in stock form and this particular car is modified with bolt ons including an intake, tune, and full exhaust including headers. Depending on how aggressive the tune is and the fuel it is running the C6 Z06 can be putting out in the ~500 wheel horsepower range on a dynojet. The new CLA45 AMG is a very exciting entry level vehicle that is going to be a big part of the Mercedes-Benz AMG tuning scene and BenzBoost for years to come. With a 2.0 liter turbocharged and direct injected M133 four-cylinder pushing 26 pounds of boost stock producing 360 horsepower sent to all four wheels with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission this car is something of a German Evo. Well here is an early gift, the upcoming 2014 Porsche 991 Turbo captured completely undisguised with no camouflaging body pieces. The car is not set to officially debut until the Frankfurt Auto show in September of this year but the car looks completely production ready here. The new 4-Series in production form for the F32 coupe has been posted thanks to leaks which has led to production based renderings of the upcoming F33 convertible/cabriolet version. The F33 convertible is going to come four months after the F32 coupe with production scheduled to start in November of this year. Here is another BMW M Performance Power Kit from BMW which really amounts to a quick cash grab. Basically BMW just gives you different software they already have sitting around for an extra $1100 plus installation which is something dealers are going to love. It seems the new Mercedes-Benz CLA has everyone scrambling for a competitor. Audi launched their answer which is the entry level A3 sedan and Volkswagen is now rumored to get into the mix with a Golf CC. There is no official confirmation of this and it is simply a rumor but renderings surfaced of what such a vehicle may look like. Here is the updated Porsche 911 RSR based on the 991 generation. The car quite simply looks beautiful and like one should move out of its way. The car is larger than the predecessor although the new roof and shape gives it a lower center of gravity. Weight distribution is also improved with more weight on the front and less on the back thanks partially to the engine placement moved further up. The 3.0 TFSI is very tuner friendly due to how Audi controls the boost with the ECU thanks to the bypass valve design. This also means Audi can detune the motor very easily as they did for the Q5 which for the 2013 model year gets the 3.0 TFSI supercharged V6. It has "only" 265 horsepower and the SQ5 which has the exact same motor gets 354 horsepower. Well, in comes GIAC with their software to give the standard Q5 3.0 TFSI a huge bump. ...
