Here is the S version of the Cayenne Diesel which sports an awesome 382 horsepower and 627 pound-foot of torque twin turbo 4.2 liter V8. The standard Cayenne Diesel in comparison (which is coming to the USA) gets a paltry 240 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque turbo 3.0 liter six-cylinder. So are we getting this awesome diesel model in the United States? The answer to that question unfortunately is no. ...Published on 09-12-2012 07:23 PM

A lot of excitement is being generated with independent dynos coming out showing the F10 M5 being significantly underrated. Here is a dyno video of a stock F10 M5 on a Mustang Dyno in 87 degree weather putting down 534 wheel horsepower (SAE). These runs were done in 4th gear and clearly support the 527 wheel horsepower numbers shown on the dynojet in SAE correction by IND. ...Published on 09-11-2012 02:42 AM
Introducing the 2013 F02 760Li V12 25 Year Anniversary Edition. BMW first introduced the V12 in road going cars in 1987 with the BMW 750il. Only 15 of these cars will be created at a price point of $159,695. That is a lot of money for a car that just gets some different interior trim options, 20 inch wheels, and some dark exterior trim. The price is over $20,000 over the standard car and there are no engine tweaks included. An Alpina B7 makes a lot more sense at $132,395 unless one absolutely has to have a V12. ...Published on 09-10-2012 06:49 PM
The Mercedes power fizzled out a bit this weekend as two Mercedes powered car retired, The first was Mclaren Mercedes' Jensen Button, who retired from 2nd place with a fuel pump malfunction and Force India's Nico Hulkenburg. Lewis Hamilton dominated the race from the start and looked unbeatable. He took off from pole position and never looked back. With his win, he jumps up to 2nd place in the championship standing, 37 points behind Alonso. The Mercedes AMG F1 team finished 6th and 7th with Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg. At the start of the race Schumacher was able to maintain his position of 4th, but by lap 7 fell to Vettel and Alonso aided by DRS and slipstream. Schumacher was forced to pit a second time with 10 laps remaining and fell to 9th place. being on fresher tires he quickly passed Senna, Kobayashi, and Di Resta to finish right behind Kimi Raikonnen. ...Published on 09-08-2012 11:10 PM
By now you should be aware of the Boba Motoring Golf. Yes, the world's fastest Golf. It is a MKII with all wheel drive which ran the 1/4 mile in 8.6@165. Yes, stupid fast. Well, not content to just leave it at that Boba Motoring is now going to a larger Precision turbo and a fuel system dedicated to running ethanol (E85). That is going to take some huge injectors and this is what they are using: 4x1000cc + 4x 2200cc injectors and a Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. ...Published on 09-08-2012 05:07 PM
The Mercedes powered teams came to Ferrari land and have dominated the race weekend so far with Mclaren Mercedes leading the charge and Mercedes AMG F1 right behind them. This track suits the power of the Mercedes engines well with Red Bull Racing and Lotus Renault unable to challenge with their Renault engines. Ferrari broke the Mercedes dominance with Massa securing his qualifying spot in 3rd place. ...Published on 09-08-2012 05:18 AM
The last update posted by BenzBoost on the SLS AMG Black Series came on July 13th where spyphotos revealed the car close to production ready with ceramic brakes. Our graphic design artist Wild-Speed worked with the spyphotos to create a rendering on what the finished product will likely look like. Considering how accurate Wild-Speed is, these renderings are likely very similar to the real deal. ...Published on 09-08-2012 05:04 AM
Here is a nice little boosted M3 battle for your viewing pleasure. This comes courtesy of BimmerBoost member LostMarine who is the camera car with his supercharged DCT E92 M3 running the ESS VT1-535 kit with a higher boost pulley and meth. The white E90 M3 belongs to BimmerBoost member akh23456 also being a DCT car but running an Active Autowerke Stage 2+ setup with a bigger blower and meth. The final car is running the ESS VT2-600 supercharger kit with a catless exhaust. ...Published on 09-07-2012 06:30 PM
Well here we have independent curb weight and weight distribution numbers from our Premier Vendor IND-Distribution. Yes, we all knew the F10 M5 was going to be heavy and we all saw BMW's own released figures which measure the car at 4387 with the DCT. So, the results here actually undercut BMW a bit but damn is the car a porker. BMW also states the weight distribution for the car at 52.5% front and 47.% rear which is spot on with their claims and still beats the new Audi's considerably. ...Published on 09-06-2012 08:56 PM
If someone mentioned this but did not provide a video it would be almost impossible to believe. Absolutely draw dropping someone took it to this level. What you are about to see is a BMW that is the victim of its ricer owners incredibly poor taste and automotive knowledge. Now, we all respect people who want to modify their cars but there is a point where it simply reaches hilarity and this is most certainly that point. Let's start with the fact the car is not even an M3. ...Published on 09-06-2012 08:01 PM
Parts keep coming for the new 991 Porsche 911 Carrera Vehicles. Agency Power released their intake which provides nice gains but seems to carry a Porsche tax on the price. It was tested on the standard 991 Carrera and peak gains are 6 horses at the wheels and 15 horses at the wheels from 3500 to 5300 rpm on a Mustang Dyno. It will work on the 991 Carrera S as well. In addition the power numbers the intake will also give the motor a throatier sound. ...Published on 09-06-2012 07:50 PM
Here is a very cool release from GIAC who just released software to tweak the 250Q DSG transmissions such as those found in the MKVI GTI and the GLI. The software is available in two stages. The first of which is obviously more mild but provides smoother clutch engagement, launch control set at 3400 rpm, and a remapped sport mode which will hold gears longer and also protects over the transmission overheating. ...Published on 09-06-2012 06:41 PM
Ok, follow on this one folks. Even though the new 4 Series designation is for two door cars the Gran Coupe version having four doors will under the 4 Series name because it is said to be a four door "coupe." Somewhat make sense? Regardless as the 6 Series Gran Coupe has been very well received and is a stunning design BMW hopes to repeat the success on a smaller scale using the 3 Series platform. ...Published on 09-06-2012 03:49 PM
Here is the new and absolutely stunning Audi RS5 convertible. The specs read exactly the same as the RS5 coupe which starts at $68,900 so expect a premium on top of that for the drop top. Not going to be cheap but it will come with a 450 horsepower 4.2 liter V8 with an 8500 RPM redline fed through a 7-Speed dual clutch gearbox. The all wheel drive is capable of distributing the power 40:60 front to rear. ...Published on 09-06-2012 04:12 AM
Here is a superb road test from the magazine Autocar where they compare the new C63 Black Series Coupe to the 997.2 GT3 RS 3.8. Now they absolutely adore the car awarding 4.5 out of 5 stars. The only knocks on it really are its fuel consumption (who cares at this price point?) and its weight. The weight criticism is valid with the car at just slightly over 4,000 pounds. For a track special that certainly is a heavyweight especially in comparison to the svelte GT3 RS 3.8. ...Published on 09-06-2012 02:55 AM
Now the new Porsche 991 Carrera S is a highly impressive piece of machinery. Porsche basically made the Carrera S as quick as the 997 GT3 as the PDK model was able to do a Nurburgring laptime in the same amount of time as the updated 997.2 GT3. Tiff Needell uses the 7-Speed manual version of the 991 Carrera S versus the GT3 which is considerably slower than its 991 Carrera S PDK counterpart. ...Published on 09-06-2012 02:30 AM
The thought was we would all have to wait a bit before we would see the three door or coupe version of the new Golf VII. Well, Volkswagen actually intentionally or accidentally leaked these images themselves on their German website through their Golf configurator. The three door version looks just as good albeit sportier than its five door sibling. Now if we could get pictures of the Golf VII GTI and the upcoming Golf R model already. ...Published on 09-05-2012 10:30 PM
Mansory is known for extravagant and expensive body kits. Their W204 C-Coupe offering is no different and certainly over the top. There are aspects of it that still look good while being aggressive such as the carbon fiber vented hoot and the carbon fiber trunk spoiler. Unfortunately, the other pieces detract from what could be a classy upgrade. The rear diffuser is not bad but we have to wonder what the person who designed the exhaust tips was thinking. ...
