I realize I am a nobody in this community since I am new to the platform but this was my experience with ADE. Ordered a 15" rear brake kit for my 135i May 31st and recieved a kit August 12th. I contacted the ADE via Facebook messenger to get info on what 15" wheels and specs they recommend I run since I figured they would have already have that figured out. The response I received was that the 135i kit was out of stock and I could either get a refund or wait (2-3 weeks) for the new custom kit was produced that included wilwood calipers and custom brackets. I agreed to wait for the custom kit. About month goes by and I hear no update - I then try and contact andy via email 3 seperate occasions and never got a response. I then sent a couple messages to the Horsepower Barn page and that got Andy to respond via email that he was waiting for the brackets to be fabricated and that they would be ready that following week. I asked Andy if he could send a picture of the calipers and rotors (my way of knowing the kit was even real) and he never responded. Another month goes by of unanswered emails and Facebook messenger messages and there is a post on the BMW 135i facebook group about Andy not refunding someone their money because they totaled their car (I agree with him not refunding in this case, so no need to get in depth on that topic) and I saw Andy commenting from his personal Facebook so I tagged him in a comment asking him to send me an update since I haven't heard anything. His email response after 2 months of waiting was that he is going to just piece together one of the 'old kits' and send it to me that he had on hand at the shop since he doesn't want to keep stringing me along.... Why didn't he just send that in the first place? His lack of communication was extremely bad. I eventually got the product I am installing the brakes tonight so hopefully everything is okay with them. At this point I am skeptical that I even got sent the correct kit. All that needed to happen was him respond to my emails. Just a response. Instead of the 2-3 weeks of radio silence between each response.

So does it happen on aacel or decel or both? I would get under the car and start looking for torn CV boots and bad CV joint, play in axle shafts, or trying to diagnose if it's the rear end, i.e. gear tooth broke. You've got a few more failure points in an XI so hard to say. Also possible that it is a carrier bearing on the drive shaft or bad guibo joint.

I'm not familiar with any other clutch that gives that level of drive ability the 3+ does as given how much it can hold. When my 3+ goes I am not sure what to get...I guess a twin disk just because it is rebuild-able but which one? I have heard bad things about both the spec/motiv and the mfactory before...

Definitely possible. They could have easily fixed it at any point too, but didn't.

LessIsMore replied to a thread TBI kit - not working?! in N54
Do you have the 4 PSI or 15 psi switch in your TBI kit? Right now it definitely does not appear to be activating. I would triple check your wiring connections and ground for the hobbs switch . Either that or you have the hobbs switch knob turned clockwise too far in and the activation PSI is higher than what you are hitting. Tuning, you should be looking at the trims column in the log, when it starts to drop suddenly under full throttle, that is the TBI comes on. It will likely be a huge drop in trim. I don't see that happening at all in your logs which is why I say it appears that it is not activating. Also it should keep your hpfp (fp_h) from dropping as much. When you are tuning, look at the row in Excel logs where the TBI comes on i.e. when trims start to fall under wot, and look across to see what the Boost value is on that row. That will tell you what PSI you actually have adjusted the TBI to activate. It can be tricky to dial it in with the knob on the hobbs switch, lot of trial and error. You have to get it set at the right sweet spot, because the way the TBI works, it's either off or full on. Look at your logs and figure out at what PSI your fph values are getting too low, and set the hobbs switch to activate at 1 or 2 PSI below that. Also you mentioned turning it both ways, but be careful. I accidentally adjusted mine too far out (counterclockwise) when I first started dialimg in my TBI, and it dumped fuel way too early, I got all kinds of misfires and errors from running way too rich. Ended up fouling a precat O2 sensor before I realize the problem. Don't make the same mistake.

I mean, you are pushing a lot of power for an XI... ever thought it could be the transfer case? The story doesn't line up for that though as I would imagine a TC would explode completely(internally of course) before making a noise like this.

Great news from Cobb Tuning! Cobb is able to now tune the PDK transmission software in al PDK 911's. Well, all PDK 911's except for the 991.2 models which are still posing trouble for tuners. If you have a 991.1 or 997.2 Turbo and want to adjust your transmission parameters this is for you. Cobb provides various PDK maps which can then be flashed with the AccessPort. Here is a look a the OTS maps: In releasing a product that has never before been offered, our Porsche Calibration experts created PDK calibrations that we felt would give the greatest performance impact as well as appeal to most enthusiast owners. While the specifics of the map for each vehicle may differ slightly, below is a general representation of what to expect when using one of three provided PDK OTS maps. All supported vehicles will have the following maps to choose from: COBB Sport Map A nice mix between the factory Normal and Sport Drive Modes. COBB Aggressive Map More ideal for vehicles being used on track or during competition. COBB High Torque Aggressive Map (not in firmware) Intended for vehicles with significant torque increase over stock. Requires PDK Relearn after flashing. If you have a Turbo upgrade and want increased clamping force for example the high torque map is needed. They also are able to change automatic shift points: They are even able to add in launch control or race start for cars without Sport Chrono: This feature adds Race Start to both the Normal and Sport drive modes, including cars WITHOUT the factory Sport Chrono option. The Race Start Lite RPM in Normal and Sport mode will typically be slightly lower than in Sport Plus. What else? INCREASED SHIFT FIRMNESS Shift firmness is the culmination of a few variables that determine how quickly the clutches are engaged between gears. The COBB PDK OTS maps offer slightly increased firmness over stock which translates to a shift more akin to that in a 991 GT3. INCREASED CLUTCH PRESSURE Minimizing clutch slip when engaging a gear moves power through the drivetrain more efficiently. Our calibrators have increased clutch pressure only in the High Torque Aggressive OTS map. This is intended to be used on vehicles that have a significant increase in torque over stock (50% or more). As a note, when flashing the High Torque Aggressive map, a PDK Relearn MUST be performed. MINIMIZED CONTINUOUS CLUTCH SLIP Continuous Clutch Slip can often present a sloppy feel when driving PDK equipped cars at low loads. COBB PDK OTS Maps will mitigate the “gear hunting” feeling by minimizing the amount of slip the clutches exhibit at low RPMs. The PDK relearn is a great feature for those who upgrade their transmission as well: Very well done Cobb! ^. Exactly. Trump should have known about the attack beforehand in Spain!:facepalm On another note, here is my take on white liberal over-educated democrats: every race is equal (true), but we (liberals) like being white. But don't tell anyone that. Don't march or speak up for whites. And heavens, all you minorities are special. But please do not move into our neighborhoods, don't marry our daughters, or go to our schools. We really, really need you! (to wash our cars, clothes, clean our homes, gardens, cook our meals, and drive our buses). We need you! You are equal to us, as long as you know your place. Southern history? Oh no, that won't do. All those slave owners like General Lee have to go. Thomas Jefferson? He is ok, he loved slave so much, he slept with most of them.

That Z4 runs really well. With upgrade turbos it would be a monster. I was at the same race in my Pure Stage 2 powered N54 E92 335i 6MT. I also raced a lot of the same cars. Here's a video of me racing the Shelby GT500 just for fun/comparison.

Master power turbos are fairly popular with the domestic truck guys and have a decent reputation. Not everyone wants or needs to pay the brand name tax. I've seen longevity issues from both chinabay and brand name turbos.

There are a couple ways to look at this. A 12.683 @ 109.62 in the 1/4 mile these days is nothing special. However, the B9 S4 is not the highest performance in the Audi portfolio as that distinction falls to the RS4 and its twin turbo motor. The S4 is a very interesting tuning prospect though due to its twin scroll top mounted turbocharger on the 2.9 liter V6. It produces 355 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque. With a tune and perhaps some bolt ons this should be an easy 11 second car. At that point though, does it make more sense to get the RS4 instead? What we learn is the car is performing about where it should based on the dyno results and this explains the timeslip explains the loss against the Mercedes-AMG C43 and Camaro SS in a previous drag race video. If the brand new S4 is slower than the C43 and the 340i that is somewhat disappointing. That is where tuning should come to the rescue.

I linked to show that the kits they currently offer are expensive, which leads me to believe this one will be expensive as well. I'm not sure when SS gave the manifold over to CES to make a kit. There are videos of it online: https://www.facebook.com/cesmotor.sport/videos/1049788988422128/ https://www.facebook.com/cesmotor.sport/videos/1049784841755876/ Whenever it does come out my bet is it will be too expensive for most. Especially if VM/AK have a bottom mount EFR they are announcing which it sounds like is the case.
