Ah I see. He is one if those people who rides the latest complaint thread, tells people a brand is garbage because 1 of 50 production units fail while he buys all the China special junk and brags about being full bolt on to all his friends at the meat holding meets.

Yeah that all makes sense but this is why people get intimidated and lurk. Some probably only browse in their bed under the covers only while you're offline.

Not sure if this will gain any traction or not. I'm always curious towards one's profession, especially if they have some level of success. For myself i have done a few things from freight logistics coordinator to CDL class A delivery driver. Currently working in HVAC filter manufacturing and going to school for M.E. on the side. I make enough to enjoy some aspects of life, but definitely not where I want to be. :) So, what do you guys do?

Might try listing all of the mods to the car and any to the pcv system. Hard to diagnose over the internet, especially with limited info.

Thinking about selling my e92 AE quad exhaust and just going back to an oem axle back setup for less BRAAAAP! Exhaust is still in great shape, never seen rain or snow and probably has less than 5000 miles on it. Anyone know what the market is like for these since they're discontinued due to Paul's death?

Why would a DI car continue getting car build up after adding PI? PI is what keeps non DI cars from getting carbon build up.

Not dumping. Here is a person that hasn't done anything telling everyone he is going to build a 1000WHP XI. Reminds me of all the guys claiming they are going to run really fast at 1/2 mile events. The events come, and they run a lot of excuses, and sub 150 traps. The old saying, if it was easy everyone would be doing it comes to mind. We won't bring up Motiv or anything. They told everyone they would run 180 at the wanna go fast. They ran 149, then blamed everything under the sun from boost control (the creators of the boostbox), and then ATI damper (for causing misfires). Little secret all our dyno numbers, AND all our trap records are with an ATI damper on the car, nary a damper induced misfire. Try again guys...

Guys , need some help here. Last week i took the 335I for a spin , made a 4th gear pull on the highway and got a check engine light around 4500rpm. Coasted to the side of the road and got a awfull smell in the car. Checked under the hood and noticed about a liter of oil got pumped out of the filler cap. Car did not want to start so i towed it home. At home i checked the plugs and they were all soaked in oil . Cleaned everything and tried to start the car . The car will start for a second but will only stay on if you give it some throtlle , its not running smooth , its running very irregular and shuts down after about 10 sec. after you start it you get a check engine light with vanos codes 2A87 & 2A98. Anybody got a clue what's going on here , or how the oil got out of the filler cap?

I hate posting here, this forum is trash. The cams are ridiculously expensive. They have a 50% rate of non-functionality. The half that are supposedly working, we have absolutely no further info on. No specs, no dyno sheets, nothing. Hell we don't have any proof they even are working. Just second-hand word they are. I build custom N54 blocks. I'd show you pictures but they look the same as every other block. I have no dyno numbers. I have no videos. However of the 2 people that bought them, 1 works! Price is $8,000. Want to pay by cash or card?

Project has been on hold last six weeks recovering from surgery, but gave me a good opportunity to read/plan more on things like setting the rack for correct ackerman angles. Back on it this weekend. Been dreading getting the lower back rail to define the rear fender line and rear of the body in and getting the two sides to match (tons of indexing). All told, from the front of one wheel arch to the other was four pieces. It's tacked to temporary cross bars until further panel development to confirm flow. Got it pretty close and an assist from Ben Starr yesterday to dial it in. Managed to get a couple more cross rails in too. Threw three of the roof panels on quick for a photo op as I was leaving the shop and give me a rough sense of proportion. Looking forward to getting back to shaping!!!
